Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Olin Rowdon started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A hard shot 6 in the game by Gregg Stevenson from a close distance when the talented Abbott Dollamore managed to make a qualified save. Lidcomb's players were relieved. In the 9th minute Olin Rowdon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abbott Dollamore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Lidcomb's goalkeeper Abbott Dollamore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregg Stevenson. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lidcomb's goalkeeper Abbott Dollamore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reginald Benson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pete Mcjunkin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Olin Rowdon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The attack was good, but when Gregg Stevenson in the 19th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Gregg Stevenson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Abbott Dollamore made a huge save. Carlisle Ancell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Pete Mcjunkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregg Stevenson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicholas Williams during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lidcomb's Nicholas Williams got a free kick in the 26th minute. Gregg Stevenson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abbott Dollamore having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Olin Rowdon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dooen's supporters rose to their feet, but Olin Rowdon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abbott Dollamore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Irving Mundine kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Matthews Kiel's late challenge caught a Dooen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthews Kiel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dooen booed when Lidcomb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthews Kiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregg Stevenson got free with Abbott Dollamore in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Olin Rowdon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gregg Stevenson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reginald Benson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Gregg Stevenson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abbott Dollamore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Dooen's Gregg Stevenson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abbott Dollamore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Abbott Dollamore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olin Rowdon, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Olin Rowdon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Olin Rowdon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abbott Dollamore was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Olin Rowdon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregg Stevenson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, one of Lidcomb:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lidcomb. Abbott Dollamore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olin Rowdon in the 76th minute of the match. Lidcomb's Abbott Dollamore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregg Stevenson in the 77th minute of play. Reginald Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Pete Mcjunkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Dooen booed when Lidcomb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irving Mundine didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Jacob Price sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abbott Dollamore skillfully saved the ball. If Olin Rowdon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregg Stevenson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Abbott Dollamore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Olin Rowdon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abbott Dollamore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gregg Stevenson came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Dooen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregg Stevenson couldn't finish the play. Dooen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
