Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Munroe Missen started the match with the kick off. Bellevue's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Chuck Chamberlain scored to the left of an out of position Lowrey Mcinnes, making the score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Randolph Mcvicar got free with Lowrey Mcinnes in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Munroe Missen came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Bellevue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Munroe Missen couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Randolph Mcvicar made a precise shot to the right of Lowrey Mcinnes. Bellevue's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 21 minutes Goondi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bevis Boneheyo who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Bellevue's Larry Matthes got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Arne Voller hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute of the match Peter Mcwilliam shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lowrey Mcinnes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Lowrey Mcinnes managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Goondi's Randolph Mcvicar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bevis Boneheyo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chuck Chamberlain in the 36th minute of play forced Bellevue's goalkeeper Lowrey Mcinnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Parker Mudie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lowrey Mcinnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lowrey Mcinnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Parker Mudie in the 40th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Bellevue got a freekick which was hit by Larry Matthes. 44 minutes into the match, Bellevue's goalkeeper Lowrey Mcinnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Randolph Mcvicar. 46 minutes into the game, Goondi's Parker Mudie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lowrey Mcinnes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chuck Chamberlain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lowrey Mcinnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randolph Mcvicar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Goondi's Randolph Mcvicar got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Bellevue's goal looked a bit too open when Parker Mudie came free, but Lowrey Mcinnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Goondi booed when Bellevue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Pack didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Randolph Mcvicar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute Chuck Chamberlain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lowrey Mcinnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Matthews Fitzsimmons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lowrey Mcinnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bellevue's Lowrey Mcinnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chuck Chamberlain in the 71st minute of play. Munroe Missen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Billy Benton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Billy Benton was a little too slow when Munroe Missen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 3-1. Larry Matthes kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Chuck Chamberlain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th match minute, Goondi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthews Fitzsimmons to maneuver through the defense. Matthews Fitzsimmons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Bellevue's goal looked a bit too open when Chuck Chamberlain came free, but Lowrey Mcinnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Goondi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
