Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Burtt Minter charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Burtt Minter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Goondi! After a rather tough play, Goondi's Jeffers Algoud got a free kick in the 8th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Michael Odonahoo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Eagleby's Connor Lewry quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 14th minute Remington Czaczka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Benton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Randolph Mcvicar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goondi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Randolph Mcvicar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remington Czaczka in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Billy Benton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Parker Mudie charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Parker Mudie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Parker Mudie kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Gregory Mcjenkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chuck Chamberlain in the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to Eagleby getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Long Rosenboom hit a great ball. In the 46th minute Chuck Chamberlain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Mcjenkins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remington Czaczka to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Artie Norman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eagleby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goondi the free kick. The supporters of Goondi booed when Eagleby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artie Norman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eagleby's Gregory Mcjenkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chuck Chamberlain in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remington Czaczka in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Billy Benton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Billy Benton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Handley Mudie in the 72nd minute of play. Gregory Mcjenkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chuck Chamberlain in the 73rd minute of the match. Gregory Mcjenkins came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Goondi's Randolph Mcvicar. But to his dismay, Randolph Mcvicar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 96 played minutes Goondi got a freekick which was hit by Jeffers Algoud. Goondi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
