In the 8th match minute, Mogilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damon Smoothey to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Collaroy's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Mealmaker came free, but Cullen Royans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cullen Royans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Mealmaker in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Collaroy's goalkeeper Cullen Royans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arne Thorne kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Collaroy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mogilla:s goal. Brent Staworowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Todd Mealmaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Todd Mealmaker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cullen Royans having to make a save. Cullen Royans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Mealmaker in the 44th minute of play. Lucas Keam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Cullen Royans made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Todd Mealmaker made a kick off. In the 51st minute Brent Staworowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Potter Cookesley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. James Dobbing struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Cullen Royans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mogilla. A collision led to Collaroy getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Bennett Lenard hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Lucas Keam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cullen Royans was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Brent Staworowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Potter Cookesley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brent Staworowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Collaroy's Cullen Royans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Keam in the 68th minute of play. If Brent Staworowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Brent Staworowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Potter Cookesley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Lucas Keam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dagan Schoenke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Potter Cookesley having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Damon Smoothey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Dagan Schoenke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Potter Cookesley. Mogilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dagan Schoenke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Mogilla's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
