When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brookes Brennan made a kick off. Edwardo Brooks charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edwardo Brooks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edwardo Brooks hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Brookes Brennan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Homerton's supporters rose to their feet, but Brookes Brennan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Laughton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ethan Reilly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brookes Brennan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Max Laughton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ethan Reilly blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Max Laughton having to make a save. Laang's Edwardo Brooks got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Edwardo Brooks off the ground. 75 minutes into the match, Laang's goal looked a bit too open when Brookes Brennan came free, but Max Laughton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Homerton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remington Fulton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 91st minute, Benjy Weller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Remington Fulton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Laang players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
