Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dalton Delahide made the kick off and thus started the match. Laang's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dalton Delahide 4 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Max Laughton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalton Delahide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remington Fulton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Brayden Knaack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Edwardo Brooks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edwardo Brooks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute of the match Rockhampton got a corner. Laang's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bryanne Rheistein ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Rockhampton's Bryanne Rheistein to fire away a dangerous shot which Max Laughton despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Potter Blagburn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laang's supporters rose to their feet, but Potter Blagburn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brayden Knaack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nathan Waterland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dalton Delahide came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Rockhampton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalton Delahide couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laang's goalkeeper Max Laughton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remington Fulton made a kick off. Ronald Trevena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Max Laughton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Rockhampton's goalkeeper Brayden Knaack had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Potter Blagburn. Dalton Delahide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Laughton having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Darell Tauschke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laang's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rockhampton the free kick. After 76 played minutes Rockhampton got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Trevena. Ronald Trevena hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Darell Tauschke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Brayden Knaack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Potter Blagburn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Darell Tauschke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Rockhampton's Ronald Trevena got a free kick in the 87th minute. Brayden Knaack made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Potter Blagburn sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Laang's zone, Dalton Delahide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Laughton came out of the goal and Dalton Delahide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Laang players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rockhampton.
