The referee ignored Frances's protests and gave Phillip Sinden a yellow card for diving instead. Phillip Sinden kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Caine Willding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Powderham having to interfere. Steve Schoenke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvin Mackney, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Randall Sayner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Steve Schoenke having to make a save. 40 minutes into the match, Tangalooma's goalkeeper Isaac Powderham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnold Mccormick. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Randall Sayner sped through Frances's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Steve Schoenke. The Frances players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tangalooma were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caine Willding was the one to do the kick off. Alvin Mackney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Steve Schoenke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caine Willding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Randall Sayner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve Schoenke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Frances's Steve Schoenke got control of the ball when Alvin Mackney tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frances's Steve Schoenke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randall Sayner in the 58th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Irving Bowen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Steve Schoenke. That made the score 0-3 in the 74 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Frances's Phillip Sinden got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Steve Schoenke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randall Sayner in the 83rd minute of play. Alvin Mackney's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Steve Schoenke skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 86 played minutes Frances got a freekick which was hit by Darrell Cridland. Isaac Powderham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Mccormick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steve Schoenke made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Alvin Mackney sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randall Sayner in the 98th minute of play forced Frances's goalkeeper Steve Schoenke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
