Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rusty Keam made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Tangalooma's Paz Rhodes got a free kick in the 11th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benard Simpson during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benard Simpson hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Rusty Keam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Powderham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Randall Sayner in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Pears prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rusty Keam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Powderham having to interfere. Nichol Whelpton kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Marco Pears came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Tangalooma's Randall Sayner. But to his dismay, Randall Sayner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rusty Keam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Isaac Powderham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Goolana's Rusty Keam fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Isaac Powderham was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Randall Sayner made the kick off in the second half. Randall Sayner struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Marco Pears didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tangalooma. Iggi Connolly hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Marco Pears made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Alvin Mackney sent off a good shot on target. Kelvin Kuch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. One of Tangalooma:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Goolana:s goal. Isaac Powderham went to the wrong direction when Benard Simpson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Rusty Keam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Isaac Powderham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tangalooma booed when Goolana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nichol Whelpton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Powderham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kelvin Kuch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
