Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Caine Willding made the kick off which started today's match. Arnold Mccormick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelius Williams having to interfere. Phillip Sinden hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Arnold Mccormick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cornelius Williams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caine Willding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Arnold Mccormick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frances's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnold Mccormick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelius Williams breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Frances getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Phillip Sinden hit a great ball. Dakota Hickman kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Paz Dollymore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gunner's Niles Fynn in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Frances's goalie prevented a goal. 37 minutes into the game, Blade Fallen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frances's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gunner the free kick. After 40th play minutes Niles Fynn shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Steve Schoenke and just under the crossbar into goal. If Niles Fynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niles Fynn made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paz Dollymore in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Steve Schoenke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gunner's Rod Boneheyo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Frances. Aaron Pearman's late challenge caught a Gunner's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Pearman helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Frances:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gunner:s goal. In the 67th minute Niles Fynn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve Schoenke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gunner's zone, Caine Willding stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelius Williams came out of the goal and Caine Willding tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Niles Fynn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Steve Schoenke was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. When Gunner's Niles Fynn in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Frances's goalie prevented a goal. Barth Lunt hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Frances's Dakota Hickman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Paz Dollymore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Frances defense, Niles Fynn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Steve Schoenke. The Frances fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Steve Schoenke should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Frances getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Darrell Cridland hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niles Fynn in the 100th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steve Schoenke saved Frances from getting behind. Gunner's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
