Malcolm Hinwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Bayswater fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Bayswater's Benney Hess looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Malcolm Hinwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Marco Pears tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rusty Keam struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Raymond Rhoades didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goolana. Rusty Keam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Rhoades having to interfere. Kelvin Kuch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Rusty Keam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goolana's supporters rose to their feet, but Rusty Keam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raymond Rhoades breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kelvin Kuch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rusty Keam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd minute, Kelvin Kuch made a precise shot to the right of Raymond Rhoades. Bayswater's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iggi Connolly during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benney Hess received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Marco Pears tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Pears didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malcolm Hinwood went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bayswater! When the match had been going on for 62 minutes, Goolana's Benard Simpson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Raymond Rhoades. Rusty Keam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raymond Rhoades having to make a save. Raymond Rhoades showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rusty Keam in the 69th minute of the match. Kelvin Kuch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Raymond Rhoades tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Raymond Rhoades, was totally fooled by Goolana's Benard Simpson, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 78th match minute, Goolana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rusty Keam to maneuver through the defense. Rusty Keam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Rhoades having to interfere. 2-4 became the score in the 87th minute when Kelvin Kuch elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marco Pears showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benney Hess, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Benney Hess had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Rusty Keam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Rhoades saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kelvin Kuch got free with Raymond Rhoades in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 99 minutes, Kelvin Kuch put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Raymond Rhoades. When the final whistle sounded Goolana left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bayswater.
