Spectators: 6873 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jerrard Mckay started the match with the kick off. Matt Brady took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iggi Rann. Iggi Rann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 6 played minutes Gunyah got a freekick which was hit by Ringo Surman. When Ringo Surman came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Gunyah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ringo Surman couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ringo Surman in the 10th minute of play forced Ballangeich's goalkeeper Iggi Rann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iggi Rann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Sparrow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Sparrow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iggi Rann having to interfere. When Gunyah's Jamese Dobbing in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ballangeich's goalie prevented a goal. Edward Sparrow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iggi Rann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Sparrow's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Edward Sparrow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iggi Rann having to interfere. Ballangeich's Iggi Rann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Sparrow in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Gunyah's Ringo Surman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iggi Rann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Ballangeich's zone, Ringo Surman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iggi Rann came out of the goal and Ringo Surman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Sparrow made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Ballangeich's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ringo Surman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jerrard Mckay kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Gunyah's Jamese Dobbing dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Ringo Surman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Iggi Rann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iggi Rann was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Edward Sparrow capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edward Sparrow really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Edward Sparrow kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iggi Rann. That made the score 0-6 in the 79 minute of play. In the 84th minute Edward Sparrow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iggi Rann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ballangeich's Iggi Rann got control of the ball when Ringo Surman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Sparrow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iggi Rann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Sparrow in the 90th minute of the match. Edward Sparrow struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Iggi Rann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gunyah. The audience was convinced that Edward Sparrow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iggi Rann was relentless in the 100th minute of the game.
