Alvin Hopkins started the match with the kick off. In the 7th match minute, Woodridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phenix Rosenboom to maneuver through the defense. Barry Munday hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Phenix Rosenboom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Phenix Rosenboom got free with Ernest Plank in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Woodridge's Ernest Plank threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Payne Fynn, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 18th minute, Woodridge's Payne Fynn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernest Plank. Ernest Plank yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ernest Plank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Payne Fynn, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Phenix Rosenboom might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernest Plank. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Phenix Rosenboom ran back to his position shaking his head. When Payne Fynn came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Woodridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Payne Fynn couldn't finish the play. Adolph Mills fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ren Maddern having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Payne Fynn in the 41st minute of play forced Moura's goalkeeper Ernest Plank to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Alvin Hopkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moura's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvin Hopkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ren Maddern breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernest Plank showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phenix Rosenboom in the 45th minute of the match. Ernest Plank made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Payne Fynn in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Payne Fynn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brennan Gruer charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brennan Gruer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Moura getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
