Brice Cowdell's late challenge caught a Springdallah's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brice Cowdell helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mooliabeenie's Brice Cowdell got a free kick in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Mooliabeenie's goal looked a bit too open when Darley Brennan came free, but Jackson Claringbold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jackson Claringbold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Jeffress in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Springdallah's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sam Devine was slow to take the kick. During this time Mooliabeenie's players had a chance to rest. If Darrell Porter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute Antony Jeffress shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jackson Claringbold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antony Jeffress sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute of the match Byron Veitch sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jackson Claringbold skillfully saved the ball. Darley Brennan scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jackson Claringbold, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darrell Porter to make the kick off. Boris Carberry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darrell Porter in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd match minute, Mooliabeenie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brice Cowdell to maneuver through the defense. When Brice Cowdell got the opportunity to take care of a free kick, it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball hit the crossbar and flew out of bounds. Boris Carberry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darrell Porter's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brice Cowdell in the 63rd minute of play forced Springdallah's goalkeeper Boris Carberry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Roland Lunt fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mooliabeenie's protests and gave Roland Lunt a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mooliabeenie's Roland Lunt got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antony Jeffress in the 86th minute of play forced Mooliabeenie's goalkeeper Jackson Claringbold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Springdallah's Darley Brennan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jackson Claringbold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Darley Brennan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Jackson Claringbold made a huge save. After 93 played minutes Mooliabeenie got a freekick which was hit by Roland Lunt. Springdallah's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
