If Payne Quinane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Dalton Mapps put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Savoy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Woodridge a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bryson Park, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Savoy's Brooker Haeberle. 0-1. Woodridge's Ren Maddern proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Woodridge from getting a goal against them. If Phenix Rosenboom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Payne Fynn was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Savoy's goal looked a bit too open when Payne Fynn came free, but Brooker Haeberle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phenix Rosenboom who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Brooker Haeberle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Payne Fynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Calvin Heath fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Savoy's protests and gave Calvin Heath a yellow card for diving instead. Calvin Heath hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Phenix Rosenboom was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Woodridge's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 80 played minutes Woodridge got a freekick which was hit by Cain Minter. Payne Fynn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brooker Haeberle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Calvin Heath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Phenix Rosenboom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brooker Haeberle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brooker Haeberle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Payne Fynn, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When the final whistle sounded Woodridge left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Savoy.
