Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adam Behla kicked off to start the match. Brad Knevett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Behla in the 7th minute of play. Brad Knevett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrews Allan in the 9th minute of the match. When The Arrows F C's Bernie Phasey in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Geelong 1980's goalie prevented a goal. Adam Behla struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Brad Knevett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geelong 1980. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Gaines in the 17th minute of play forced The Arrows F C's goalkeeper Brad Knevett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Behla took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brad Knevett. Brad Knevett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 37th minute, Andrews Allan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brad Knevett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Brad Knevett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Behla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herman Fison hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Adam Behla spun around in front of the goal 43 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of The Arrows F C's goal. In the 44th match minute, The Arrows F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keefe Hursey to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Geelong 1980's Adam Behla got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half Geelong 1980 were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Bernie Phasey made the kick off in the second half. Brad Knevett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Behla in the 54th minute of play. Adam Behla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrews Allan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brad Knevett having to interfere. Dugald Hollingworth hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Brad Knevett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Behla in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Geelong 1980 booed when The Arrows F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keefe Hursey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes Geelong 1980 got a freekick which was hit by Paco Gaines. Berny Duncan spun around in front of the goal 78 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Geelong 1980's goal. Adam Behla struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Brad Knevett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geelong 1980. The Arrows F C's Brad Knevett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Behla in the 83rd minute of play. Adam Behla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Berny Duncan notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Geelong 1980's Darian Travers. Darian Travers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Adam Behla came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Geelong 1980 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Behla couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Geelong 1980 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Arrows F C.
