Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tobie Rowdon took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th play minute Jessop Hursey came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabrizio Hayward. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pete Shirdon in the 11th minute of play forced Mitropoulos Pizza FC's goalkeeper Allen Nurthen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Caffey got a freekick which was hit by Tony Locke. The supporters of Mitropoulos Pizza FC booed when Caffey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Locke didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Braedan Marcola from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Fabrizio Hayward's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Pete Shirdon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrizio Hayward showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobie Rowdon, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Tony Locke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jessop Hursey's late challenge caught a Caffey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jessop Hursey helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Caffey booed when Mitropoulos Pizza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jessop Hursey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jessop Hursey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Fabrizio Hayward made a huge save. If Tobie Rowdon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Caffey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brye Atterton to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 40 minutes, Jessop Hursey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mitropoulos Pizza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jessop Hursey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabrizio Hayward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobie Rowdon in the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Mitropoulos Pizza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pete Shirdon came free, but Allen Nurthen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clark Wilson, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dugald Maciver to make the kick off. Pete Shirdon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Dugald Maciver kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Allen Nurthen. That made the score 2-1 in the 54 minute of play. Mitropoulos Pizza FC's Tobie Rowdon got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jessop Hursey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Hayward having to interfere. If Pete Shirdon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobie Rowdon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Caffey getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Brye Atterton hit a great ball. Mitropoulos Pizza FC's Tobie Rowdon got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Caffey's goal looked a bit too open when Jessop Hursey came free, but Fabrizio Hayward reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match Carlton Petty sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabrizio Hayward skillfully saved the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Caffey's goal looked a bit too open when Jessop Hursey came free, but Fabrizio Hayward reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrizio Hayward didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobie Rowdon went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Mitropoulos Pizza FC were the better team. Mitropoulos Pizza FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
