Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Norm Carberry took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Urania's Belton Cordrey got a free kick in the 11th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Northmead's Porter Legg tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Marshal Frew managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urania's supporters rose to their feet, but Marshal Frew was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abraham Plummer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norm Carberry kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Rudy Awege blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abraham Plummer having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Rudy Awege's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abraham Plummer was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Norm Carberry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rudy Awege sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abraham Plummer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudy Awege, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Northmead's Abraham Plummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marshal Frew in the 37th minute of play. Abraham Plummer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rudy Awege's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the game, George Clarke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Northmead's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Urania the free kick. In the 47th minute, Marshal Frew got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rudy Awege stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Urania's Rudy Awege got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Rudy Awege managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urania's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudy Awege was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abraham Plummer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Urania's Rudy Awege slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abraham Plummer. That made the score 0-2 after 73 minutes of play. 79 minutes into the game, Bud Sanderson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urania's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Northmead the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Urania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bud Sanderson to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the game, Burt Cochrane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Northmead's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Urania the free kick. Burt Cochrane kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Rudy Awege managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marshal Frew struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Abraham Plummer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urania. Urania played a much better game than Northmead and deserved their victory. The Northmead players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
