Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Caurnamont's zone, Kyle Rosenboom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duffield Mackney came out of the goal and Kyle Rosenboom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Coleraine's Anthony Kirkham proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Coleraine from getting a goal against them. When Coleraine's Chuck Munster in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caurnamont's goalie prevented a goal. Duffield Mackney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chuck Munster in the 17th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jamie Chamberlain got free with Anthony Kirkham in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clarke Kerville hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Jamie Chamberlain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Anthony Kirkham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duffield Mackney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kyle Rosenboom went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jamie Chamberlain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Kirkham having to interfere. A collision led to Coleraine getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ivan Favas hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Coleraine's goalkeeper Anthony Kirkham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jamie Chamberlain. Coleraine's Anthony Kirkham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Richard in the 45th minute of play. Duffield Mackney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chuck Munster, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Rosenboom was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caurnamont's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dugald Jeffress was slow to take the kick. During this time Coleraine's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Dugald Jeffress got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Duffield Mackney quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Thomas Richard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Richard in the 59th minute of play forced Coleraine's goalkeeper Anthony Kirkham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Coleraine's goal looked a bit too open when Jamie Chamberlain came free, but Anthony Kirkham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carleton Christian's late challenge caught a Caurnamont's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carleton Christian helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Coleraine's Carleton Christian got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Caurnamont getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Cullen Coburn hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Thomas Richard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caurnamont's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Richard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthony Kirkham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chuck Munster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Duffield Mackney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duffield Mackney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chuck Munster in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes Caurnamont got a freekick which was hit by Darin Benton. Caurnamont's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Kyle Rosenboom scored to the left of an out of position Duffield Mackney, making the score, 0-2. Duffield Mackney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Rosenboom, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Jamie Chamberlain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Anthony Kirkham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duffield Mackney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Rosenboom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Coleraine supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Coleraine would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
