Broula's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wirrega the free kick. In the 7th minute, Nicholas Cubit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Brooks Porter came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Broula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brooks Porter couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Brooks Porter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blake Powderham was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Isaac Goldsmith was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Edmonds Ayrton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Carlton Ridding ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrews Auger was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ethan Stevens during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Ethan Stevens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niles Freeman hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Brooks Porter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Buck Shipp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blake Powderham was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brett Dobbing to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Broula's Brooks Porter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blake Powderham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brooks Porter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carlton Ridding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 69 minutes, Nicholas Cubit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Broula's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicholas Cubit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niles Freeman charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niles Freeman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nichol Schutt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ethan Stevens kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Wirrega's Niles Freeman got a free kick in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wirrega's zone, Buck Shipp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blake Powderham came out of the goal and Buck Shipp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Buck Shipp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blake Powderham having to interfere. When Steve Prinsep came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Broula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steve Prinsep couldn't finish the play. Blake Powderham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Buck Shipp in the 92nd minute. After some careless play in the Wirrega defense, Buck Shipp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blake Powderham. The Wirrega fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blake Powderham should have stopped the shot. Broula were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
