Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jess Hitchen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Albert Rutledge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Jess Hitchen could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Albert Rutledge however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Alan Stockwin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albert Rutledge was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Albert Rutledge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jess Hitchen went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Albert Rutledge was a little too slow when Jess Hitchen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 2-0. 16 minutes into the match, Jess Hitchen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albert Rutledge. Weithew's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jess Hitchen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Rod Laws fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bran Huntington having to interfere. Albert Rutledge made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Bern Crampton sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the match, Wamenusking's goal looked a bit too open when Rod Laws came free, but Bran Huntington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Albert Rutledge managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Wamenusking's Alan Stockwin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 42nd minute, Alan Stockwin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Weithew's Matthew Durbridge got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Alan Stockwin got free in front of the goal in the 47th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Albert Rutledge was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rod Laws stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Weithew got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Durbridge. Alan Stockwin struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Albert Rutledge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wamenusking. Britton Cubit was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, one of Weithew:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Weithew. In the 70th minute, Lucas Deal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Stockwin in the 72nd minute of play forced Weithew's goalkeeper Albert Rutledge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Rutledge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carver Lucas in the 74th minute of play. When Alan Stockwin came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Wamenusking fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Stockwin couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jess Hitchen in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albert Rutledge saved Weithew from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Deal during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Albert Rutledge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jess Hitchen in the 97th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Wamenusking fully deserved thier win.
