In the 9th minute of the match Bartholemew Weatherby sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rick Kepert skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Experiment's zone, Arnie Worrall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carter Domenichetti came out of the goal and Arnie Worrall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacob Hines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rick Kepert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rex Wilde in the 19th minute. Rick Kepert made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Rex Wilde sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Arnie Worrall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brightview's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnie Worrall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carter Domenichetti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rex Wilde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rick Kepert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, Brightview's Arnie Worrall made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carter Domenichetti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnie Worrall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Domenichetti having to interfere. Jacob Hines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rick Brotherton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnie Worrall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Carter Domenichetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnie Worrall struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Carter Domenichetti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brightview. Marcus Gavin's late challenge caught a Brightview's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Gavin helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 minutes FC Experiment's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Porter Macinnes who took care of the corner kick. Carter Domenichetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Hines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Experiment's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Porter Macinnes was slow to take the kick. During this time Brightview's players had a chance to rest. Porter Macinnes made a great header on Brightview's corner, it was just that FC Experiment's Carter Domenichetti managed to reach the ball for a save. If Arnie Worrall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute, Antonia Paull hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the FC Experiment defense, Jacob Hines kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carter Domenichetti. The FC Experiment fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carter Domenichetti should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Porter Macinnes during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, one of Brightview:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brightview. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for FC Experiment. Bob Edwards stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rick Kepert. 2-2. Jacob Hines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Domenichetti having to interfere. The nice shot from Arnie Worrall in the 90thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Carter Domenichetti had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Antony Peterson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carter Domenichetti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Carter Domenichetti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 97 minutes, Arnie Worrall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brightview's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnie Worrall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnie Worrall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Brightview failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
