Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nash Cuddihy hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. A collision led to fcbb getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Edwards Lingwoodock hit a great ball. After 14 minutes, Everitt Owens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chelsea and the fcbb players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of fcbb booed when Chelsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everitt Owens didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, fcbb's Edwards Lingwoodock got a free kick in the 19th minute. Samuel Hoey was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, fcbb's Dwight Barry got a free kick in the 21st minute. Gregory Mckinley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry Lonergan, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. fcbb's Gregory Mckinley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Lonergan in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, fcbb's Gregory Mckinley got control of the ball when Everitt Owens tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsea's zone, Bernie Allen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kelvin Flesfader came out of the goal and Bernie Allen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind fcbb's goalkeeper Gregory Mckinley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chelsea's Everitt Owens got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hank Johnson to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, fcbb's goal looked a bit too open when Everitt Owens came free, but Gregory Mckinley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chelsea's Barry Lonergan got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregory Mckinley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everitt Owens, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barry Lonergan in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregory Mckinley saved fcbb from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Hank Johnson in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Eden Quinane came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Chelsea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eden Quinane couldn't finish the play. After 72 minutes of play, Chelsea's Barry Lonergan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregory Mckinley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barry Lonergan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gregory Mckinley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Everitt Owens came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Chelsea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everitt Owens couldn't finish the play. If Bernie Allen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind fcbb's goalkeeper Gregory Mckinley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gregory Mckinley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Lonergan in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in fcbb's zone, Everitt Owens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregory Mckinley came out of the goal and Everitt Owens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everitt Owens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
