In the 20th minute, Clark Sparks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Bordo Mavi fc were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Battle Markcrow was the one to do the kick off. Payton Gorham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chinbingina. When Nathan Warren fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chinbingina's protests and gave Nathan Warren a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Chinbingina got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Warren. When Paul Wharton came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Bordo Mavi fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Wharton couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bordo Mavi fc's goalkeeper Payton Gorham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clark Sparks in the 89th minute of play forced Bordo Mavi fc's goalkeeper Payton Gorham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Battle Markcrow blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Curtis Stafford having to make a save. The Bordo Mavi fc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bordo Mavi fc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
