After a defensive mix-up in Villawood-Lansvale's zone, Clark Sparks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brooker Mills came out of the goal and Clark Sparks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chinbingina's Clark Sparks got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clark Sparks in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brooker Mills saved Villawood-Lansvale from getting behind. If Adam Cordrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Adam Cordrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Adam Cordrey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brooker Mills was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 36th minute, Broderick Allcock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Adam Cordrey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brooker Mills was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Clark Sparks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brooker Mills having to interfere. Villawood-Lansvale's Brooker Mills played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Cordrey in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cain Pickhills stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Villawood-Lansvale's Brooker Mills played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Cordrey in the 56th minute of play. Karl Berresford hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Clark Sparks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Brooker Mills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Cordrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 65 minutes, Clark Sparks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chinbingina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clark Sparks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Cordrey in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brooker Mills saved Villawood-Lansvale from getting behind. A collision led to Chinbingina getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Karl Berresford hit a great ball. Peter Jackson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fleming Lingwoodock charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fleming Lingwoodock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Villawood-Lansvale's Fleming Lingwoodock got a free kick in the 80th minute. Villawood-Lansvale's Brooker Mills proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Villawood-Lansvale from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the game, Clark Sparks recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brooker Mills. Clark Sparks showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Adam Cordrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Clark Sparks fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Clark Sparks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chinbingina's supporters rose to their feet, but Clark Sparks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brooker Mills breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Chinbingina left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Villawood-Lansvale.
