Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmonds Kepert started the match with the kick off. Nilson Hunter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marshall Cookesley's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. LATINOS FC's Earnest Smee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmonds Kepert in the 6th minute of play. Marshall Cookesley might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilson Hunter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marshall Cookesley ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marshall Christini in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Earnest Smee saved LATINOS FC from getting behind. With a little luck, LATINOS FC's Earnest Smee got control of the ball when Neal Cusbert tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linden's goalkeeper Nilson Hunter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. LATINOS FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bradford Schoenke in the 20th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Linden's goalie and right to Hal Breasley. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Linden's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Niles Hardiman fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linden's protests and gave Niles Hardiman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26thth minute of the game Marshall Cookesley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Linden's Nilson Hunter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Earnest Smee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmonds Kepert in the 29th minute of the match. Earnest Smee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmonds Kepert in the 31st minute of play. In the last second Earnest Smee throw himself and got hold of the ball when Edmonds Kepert in the 33rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Milton Nobes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linden's supporters rose to their feet, but Milton Nobes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Earnest Smee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41stth minute of the game Marshall Cookesley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Linden's Nilson Hunter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Marshall Cookesley made the kick off in the second half. Neal Cusbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Earnest Smee having to interfere. With his leg Nilson Hunter managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when LATINOS FC's Marshall Cookesley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 55 played minutes LATINOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Herman Skurrie. After a defensive mix-up in LATINOS FC's zone, Milton Nobes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Earnest Smee came out of the goal and Milton Nobes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Cookesley in the 67th minute of play forced Linden's goalkeeper Nilson Hunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Edmonds Kepert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Earnest Smee was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Marshall Cookesley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marshall Cookesley came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the LATINOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marshall Cookesley couldn't finish the play. When Marshall Cookesley came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the LATINOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marshall Cookesley couldn't finish the play. After 92 minutes, Jacob Mcgregor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LATINOS FC and the Linden players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes, Linden's Milton Nobes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Earnest Smee came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Linden reached it. The supporters of Linden booed when LATINOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Mccormick didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neal Cusbert in the 96th minute of play forced LATINOS FC's goalkeeper Earnest Smee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
