Spectators: 7797 (Terracing: 5849, Seating: 1793, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bruce Awege kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute of the match Jamie Bundy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dallas Crampton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Russ Coote successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Elliott Phasey kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Awege in the 18th minute of play forced Riverton's goalkeeper Russ Coote to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Antony Cusbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Chameleon FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Barry Venz hit a great ball. Parker Morey struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Russ Coote didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chameleon FC. Bruce Awege fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russ Coote having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Parker Morey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chameleon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Parker Morey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruce Awege fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russ Coote having to interfere. If Bruce Awege had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edwards Hollingworth kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Parker Morey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd match minute, Riverton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwards Hollingworth to maneuver through the defense. Kirk Ross was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Russ Coote showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruce Awege in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Antony Cusbert made the kick off in the second half. Antony Cusbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Antony Cusbert fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dallas Crampton, passed just outside the right post. Jack Hoskin struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Dallas Crampton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riverton. After having played for 61 minutes, Antony Cusbert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riverton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antony Cusbert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th match minute, Chameleon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Kenack to maneuver through the defense. Chameleon FC's Dallas Crampton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antony Cusbert in the 68th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Riverton's goal looked a bit too open when Bruce Awege came free, but Russ Coote reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dallas Crampton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jack Hoskin in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Chameleon FC's Stewart Smoothey got a free kick in the 78th minute. Antony Cusbert struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Dallas Crampton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riverton. Antony Cusbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Chameleon FC's Dallas Crampton got control of the ball when Jack Hoskin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Riverton's goalkeeper Russ Coote, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Riverton's Antony Cusbert in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chameleon FC's goalie prevented a goal.
