In the 7th minute Nathan Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Porter Connell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Humphry Wakefield fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraparap's protests and gave Humphry Wakefield a yellow card for diving instead. Humphry Wakefield hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Porter Hollingworth made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Curtis Wenham sent off a good shot on target. Porter Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesse Weller in the 11th minute of play. A hard shot 13 in the game by Curtis Wenham from a close distance when the talented Porter Hollingworth managed to make a qualified save. Paraparap's players were relieved. A long shot from Brant Pears in the 15th minute of play was well struck, but Porter Hollingworth made a really good save at the right post. Porter Hollingworth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Samuels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesse Weller in the 23rd minute of play forced Toowoomba Snippers's goalkeeper Porter Connell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damon Samuels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Porter Hollingworth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Toowoomba Snippers's Damon Samuels slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Porter Hollingworth. That made the score 1-0 after 33 minutes of play. Davey Christina hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Damon Samuels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damon Samuels to strike the kick off in the second half. When Toowoomba Snippers's Damon Samuels in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraparap's goalie prevented a goal. Damon Samuels struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Porter Hollingworth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toowoomba Snippers. 55 minutes into the match, Paraparap's goal looked a bit too open when Damon Samuels came free, but Porter Hollingworth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Curtis Wenham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damon Samuels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Porter Hollingworth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damon Samuels's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Curtis Wenham notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Paraparap's Porter Hollingworth. Porter Hollingworth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jesse Weller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Porter Connell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stewart Reisz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porter Hollingworth having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Curtis Wenham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toowoomba Snippers's supporters rose to their feet, but Curtis Wenham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Porter Hollingworth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damon Samuels's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Porter Hollingworth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Curtis Wenham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Porter Hollingworth was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Paraparap's zone, Damon Samuels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Porter Hollingworth came out of the goal and Damon Samuels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toowoomba Snippers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
