He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oladdie reached it. Art Orr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Pinal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Central Coast Spurs's Nathaniel Goodward got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute of the match Tony Dowling sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Art Orr skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Damon Reynolds managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oladdie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damon Reynolds was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 played minutes Central Coast Spurs got a freekick which was hit by Barnes Millar. Central Coast Spurs's Art Orr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damon Reynolds in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Central Coast Spurs getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Stew Schenck hit a great ball. Art Orr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damon Reynolds in the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Central Coast Spurs's Nathaniel Goodward got a free kick in the 44th minute. Art Orr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nathan Kernick's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The supporters of Oladdie booed when Central Coast Spurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathaniel Goodward didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barnes Millar to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Damon Reynolds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Art Orr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Barnes Millar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rick Pound saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A wasted opportunity for Oladdie. 74 minutes into the match, Nathan Kernick notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Central Coast Spurs's Art Orr. Art Orr was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th match minute, Central Coast Spurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregg Hamilton to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damon Reynolds in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Art Orr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the match, Oladdie's goal looked a bit too open when Barnes Millar came free, but Rick Pound reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Central Coast Spurs's Art Orr got control of the ball when Nathan Kernick tried to sneak it across the goal line. Art Orr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damon Reynolds, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nathan Kernick got free with Art Orr in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oladdie played a much better game than Central Coast Spurs and deserved their victory. The Central Coast Spurs players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
