In the 9th minute, Ellis Cordrey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Art Orr was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 16 minutes, Todd Limmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glenorie and the Central Coast Spurs players grew even worse after the yellow card. Barnes Millar hit a great ball. Corey Anders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Ambrose having to interfere. If Corey Anders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes Glenorie got a freekick which was hit by Cregan Heath. Art Orr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ellis Cordrey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Central Coast Spurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathaniel Goodward to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Ellis Cordrey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raymond Brading fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art Orr having to interfere. A collision led to Central Coast Spurs getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Burtt Cridland hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Cregan Heath managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glenorie's supporters rose to their feet, but Cregan Heath was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Art Orr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd match minute, Central Coast Spurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregg Hamilton to maneuver through the defense. Raymond Brading struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Art Orr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glenorie.

The wind increased when Ellis Cordrey made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Todd Limmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glenorie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Todd Limmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Corey Anders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Alexander Ambrose tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raymond Brading struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Art Orr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glenorie. Nathaniel Goodward kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Cregan Heath, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Todd Limmer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. The supporters of Central Coast Spurs booed when Glenorie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Todd Limmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barnes Millar might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Ambrose. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barnes Millar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute of the match, Raymond Brading got a very nice opportunity to score, but Art Orr was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Raymond Brading was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Glenorie's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Carver Haydock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art Orr having to interfere. Raymond Bradings short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Art Orr to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Carver Haydock struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Art Orr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glenorie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raymond Brading got free with Art Orr in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carver Haydock struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Art Orr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glenorie. When the match was over Glenorie could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Central Coast Spurs throughout the match.
