Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Raymond Brading came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lawrence Egel could save by the left post. Glenorie's Ellis Cordrey got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Archie Watts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Alexander Ambrose tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ellis Cordrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrence Egel having to interfere. Raymond Brading blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lawrence Egel having to make a save. Jeffray Fison kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Raymond Brading notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Darwin's Lawrence Egel. Lawrence Egel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 40 minutes, Roy Riley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Darwin and the Glenorie players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Darwin's Roy Riley got a free kick in the 40th minute. A collision led to Darwin getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Darell Riley hit a great ball. Raymond Brading sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute of the game Cregan Heath made a throw-in which Crawford Christina played forward. Alexander Ambrose showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Archie Watts in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ellis Cordrey made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Glenorie's Ellis Cordrey got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Dani Dorrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Ambrose was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After 55 minutes of play Glenorie's Ellis Cordrey was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 56 played minutes Glenorie got a freekick which was hit by Ellis Cordrey. Glenorie's Alexander Ambrose played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dani Dorrell in the 57th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Raymond Brading made a precise shot to the right of Lawrence Egel. Darwin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 68th minute, Arneil Brooks fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alexander Ambrose, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dani Dorrell in the 70th minute of play forced Glenorie's goalkeeper Alexander Ambrose to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dani Dorrell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Alexander Ambrose when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 77th minute, Roy Riley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roy Riley hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Raymond Brading came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Glenorie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymond Brading couldn't finish the play. Dani Dorrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alexander Ambrose tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Glenorie fans cheered their team off the field, for while Darwin had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
