When Jonathan Palmington came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ultima fans jumped to their feet. In the 29th match minute, Blenheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Brennand to maneuver through the defense. Battle Kuskopf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gregory Schultz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joseph Brennand fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blenheim's protests and gave Joseph Brennand a yellow card for diving instead. Joseph Brennand hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Arty Roach sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Blenheim's Gregory Schultz didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Blenheim's Joseph Brennand got a free kick in the 56th minute. The supporters of Ultima booed when Blenheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Gledden didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ultima's Arty Roach tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Battle Kuskopf got free with Gregory Schultz in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gregory Schultz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Palmington, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Rod Trevena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blenheim's supporters rose to their feet, but Rod Trevena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darryl Murphy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 68 minutes, Jonathan Palmington managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ultima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Palmington was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Casper Gledden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 72 minutes, Battle Kuskopf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ultima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Battle Kuskopf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Craig Rizzardo's late challenge caught a Blenheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Craig Rizzardo helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Palmington's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregory Schultz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Blenheim's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Palmington came free, but Gregory Schultz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Battle Kuskopf in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gregory Schultz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Blenheim's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jonathan Palmington 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Ultima's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
