But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundson Brooks couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Russ Digiuseppe in the 15th minute of play forced Man Stoj FC's goalkeeper Jesse Cookesley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duke Franklin's late challenge caught a Man Stoj FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duke Franklin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Coolac getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Duke Franklin hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Edmundson Brooks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cullen Travers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmund Sewell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Man Stoj FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Duke Franklin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Russ Digiuseppe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesse Cookesley having to interfere. If Edmund Sewell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundson Brooks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cullen Travers having to interfere. Edmundson Brooks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Coolac's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Sewell came free, but Cullen Travers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44thth minute of the game Edmundson Brooks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coolac's Cullen Travers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Everett Christini got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundson Brooks stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Bernard Wivell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jesse Cookesley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Russ Digiuseppe in the 61st minute of play. Cullen Travers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmund Sewell in the 64th minute. Edmund Sewell scored 0-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cullen Travers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Everett Christini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jesse Cookesley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everett Christini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75thth minute of the game Edmundson Brooks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coolac's Cullen Travers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Coolac booed when Man Stoj FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Sewell didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Coolac's Everett Christini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesse Cookesley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Coolac getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Russ Digiuseppe hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Nero Dillon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Man Stoj FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
