Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Devil Roosters's Irving Everett started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Irving Everett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rex Gilding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lawrence Reisz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Irving Everett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eavan Vaisey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lawrence Reisz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nathaniel Allan in the 12th minute. Herbert Smoothy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lawrence Reisz. Devil Roosters's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Bernard Triplett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glengower's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Devil Roosters the free kick. After a rather tough play, Glengower's Bernard Triplett got a free kick in the 16th minute. Eavan Vaisey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carson Orourke, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Lawrence Reisz made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Matthews Baxter sent off a good shot on target. In the 19thth minute of the game Carson Orourke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glengower's Eavan Vaisey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Glengower's goal looked a bit too open when Irving Everett came free, but Eavan Vaisey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lawrence Reisz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rex Gilding in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute Carson Orourke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eavan Vaisey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Devil Roosters got a freekick which was hit by Carson Orourke. Irving Everett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eavan Vaisey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Devil Roosters's zone, Nathaniel Allan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lawrence Reisz came out of the goal and Nathaniel Allan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Carson Orourke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Carson Orourke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Devil Roosters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carson Orourke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Devil Roosters's goal looked a bit too open when John Cookesley came free, but Lawrence Reisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Cookesley was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Rex Gilding made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Devil Roosters's Lawrence Reisz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 58 minutes, Lance Goucher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glengower and the Devil Roosters players grew even worse after the yellow card. Malcolm Sobezak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Eavan Vaisey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lawrence Reisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Cookesley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eavan Vaisey made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Malcolm Sobezak sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Glengower's goal looked a bit too open when Irving Everett came free, but Eavan Vaisey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carson Orourke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eavan Vaisey having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Devil Roosters's Broderick Sobezak got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Rex Gilding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrence Reisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Eavan Vaisey managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Devil Roosters's Brannan Goucher fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rex Gilding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Lawrence Reisz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodd Magnay hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Rex Gilding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lawrence Reisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rex Gilding, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. John Cookesley scored 2-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lawrence Reisz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lawrence Reisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Cookesley in the 90th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Carson Orourke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eavan Vaisey was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Matthews Baxter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glengower's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthews Baxter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lawrence Reisz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Devil Roosters defense, John Cookesley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lawrence Reisz. The Devil Roosters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lawrence Reisz should have stopped the shot. Devil Roosters's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
