Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when John Cookesley made the kick off which started today's match. George Park made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rex Gilding in the 5th minute. A collision led to Bromus getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dagan Mcgregor hit a great ball. When Rex Gilding came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Glengower fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rex Gilding couldn't finish the play. Damian Oconnell hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Rex Gilding left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glengower fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Eavan Vaisey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Cookesley in the 18th minute of play. Andy Mccormick scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eavan Vaisey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. John Cookesley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dagan Mcgregor might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eavan Vaisey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dagan Mcgregor ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute, Nathaniel Allan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Andy Mccormick came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Bromus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Mccormick couldn't finish the play. When Rex Gilding came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Glengower fans jumped to their feet. In the 39th minute John Cookesley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Park saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rex Gilding's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, George Park skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 40 played minutes Bromus got a freekick which was hit by Dagan Mcgregor. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, George Park successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Glengower's John Cookesley got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. John Cookesley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. George Park tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andy Mccormick made a kick off. Rex Gilding blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Park having to make a save. George Park took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Cookesley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Park showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rex Gilding, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Rex Gilding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, John Cookesley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. George Park showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Cookesley, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Rex Gilding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. John Cookesley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Park read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Eavan Vaisey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Mccormick in the 76th minute of play. John Cookesley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Park having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Bromus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birrell Bowen to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bromus's zone, John Cookesley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Park came out of the goal and John Cookesley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rex Gilding in the 82nd minute of play forced Bromus's goalkeeper George Park to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andy Mccormick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
