Spectators: 5051 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 51) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bill Kurth kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Randolph Pfingst in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bath Nelson saved Wakool from getting behind. With a little luck, Wakool's Bath Nelson got control of the ball when Meyer Woodbridge tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th match minute, EVATT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angus Sobczak to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Bill Kurth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Myles Trevena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Larkins Rutledge charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Larkins Rutledge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute of the match Darren Fazey shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Myles Trevena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The long shot by Bock Watman in the 28th minute really tested Bath Nelson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Meyer Woodbridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bath Nelson having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Meyer Woodbridge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Jack Greenbank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bath Nelson made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Meyer Woodbridge sent off a good shot on target. Meyer Woodbridge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bath Nelson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Jack Greenbank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bath Nelson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Meyer Woodbridge showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 45 minute of play. Bath Nelson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randolph Pfingst in the 49th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Randolph Pfingst to make the kick off. Bill Kurth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Myles Trevena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Jack Greenbank got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Wakool getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jack Greenbank hit a great ball. Neville Dollymore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Myles Trevena made a huge save. Brayden Woods kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Randolph Pfingst struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Bath Nelson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EVATT. Bath Nelson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randolph Pfingst in the 75th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Meyer Woodbridge cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bath Nelson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89thth minute of the game Randolph Pfingst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wakool's Bath Nelson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Bill Kurth got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jesse Bowen hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
