Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Peter Ramsay made the kick off and thus started the match. Bath Nelson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brock Conlan in the 8th minute. Bath Nelson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Ramsay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Wakool getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Brayden Woods hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Wakool's zone, Peter Ramsay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bath Nelson came out of the goal and Peter Ramsay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brock Conlan struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Bath Nelson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carani. Andrews Mcvey came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Wakool's Neville Dollymore. But to his dismay, Neville Dollymore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arnold Mckinley hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Carani's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Kurth came free, but Andrews Mcvey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berne Magrath kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Wakool's Bath Nelson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Ramsay in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bill Kurth in the 42nd minute of play forced Carani's goalkeeper Andrews Mcvey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Neville Dollymore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Bill Kurth in the 47th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The wind increased when Bill Kurth made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Arnold Mckinley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Wakool's Neville Dollymore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrews Mcvey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Bill Kurth came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Wakool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bill Kurth couldn't finish the play. Bill Kurth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83 minutes Carani's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Darren Fazey who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Darren Fazey got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andrews Mcvey quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Andrews Mcvey made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Neville Dollymore sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Bill Kurth got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesse Bowen during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jesse Bowen hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
