Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nilson Ross started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berne Hanlen in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregg Potter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacobs Stageman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Case Trezise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Minmindie's Brad Curtis got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Russell Flesfader hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Brad Curtis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Jarrod Conlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Jacobs Stageman made a precise shot to the right of Case Trezise. Minmindie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Nilson Ross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Nilson Ross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Case Trezise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Kotara's Case Trezise threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nilson Ross, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 45 minutes, Berne Hanlen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minmindie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berne Hanlen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gregg Potter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berne Hanlen in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berne Hanlen to make the kick off. Gregg Potter made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Brad Curtis sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Minmindie's Russell Flesfader got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Nilson Ross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Case Trezise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobs Stageman in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Kotara's Jacobs Stageman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Case Trezise narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Minmindie's Berne Hanlen got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Berne Hanlen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gregg Potter, passed just outside the right post. Rudolph Brooks hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Brad Curtis scored 1-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregg Potter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brad Curtis took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregg Potter. Gregg Potter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to Minmindie getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jonathan Matthes hit a great ball. Nilson Ross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th play minute Russell Flesfader came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gregg Potter. 1-3. Case Trezise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilson Ross, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Jonathan Matthes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartholemew Tisdell, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
