Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nilson Ross took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Rudolph Coleman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute Nilson Ross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Hogan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Millicent booed when Kotara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobs Stageman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Kent Fazey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gregg Potter. Kotara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kent Fazey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rudolph Coleman struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Gregg Potter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Millicent. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilson Ross in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruce Hogan saved Millicent from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Nilson Ross put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bruce Hogan. When Nilson Ross came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Kotara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilson Ross couldn't finish the play. Bruce Hogan had great luck who in the 33rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Nilson Ross from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Bruce Hogan made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jacobs Stageman sent off a good shot on target. Millicent's Bruce Hogan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Millicent from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd match minute, Millicent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darren Wenham to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rudolph Coleman made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Jacobs Stageman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kotara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luke Groves during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kotara's Luke Groves got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Ross in the 65th minute of play forced Millicent's goalkeeper Bruce Hogan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nilson Ross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Millicent getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Darren Wenham hit a great ball. Nilson Ross struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Bruce Hogan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kotara. If Jacobs Stageman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Carr kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Kotara's Bartholemew Tisdell couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Millicent. A collision led to Kotara getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Nathaniel Plummer hit a great ball. Jacobs Stageman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Hogan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Millicent's Angelo Carr got a free kick in the 97th minute. Kotara's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
