Spectators: 6922 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 28) Ivan Allcock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregg Potter having to interfere. Russell Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Ross, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Gregg Potter made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ned Kurth sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Kotara's Connor Oneill got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Perthominium's Ivan Allcock in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kotara's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kotara's zone, Ned Kurth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregg Potter came out of the goal and Ned Kurth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ivan Allcock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jacobs Stageman came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Kotara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobs Stageman couldn't finish the play. Nilson Ross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perthominium's Russell Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson Ross in the 32nd minute of play. Russell Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilson Ross in the 37th minute of play. Kotara's Luke Groves suffered a sore thigh after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jones Fynn's late challenge caught a Kotara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jones Fynn helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Perthominium got a freekick which was hit by Jones Fynn. Jacobs Stageman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobs Stageman in the 46th minute of play forced Perthominium's goalkeeper Russell Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacobs Stageman to strike the kick off in the second half. Ivan Allcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gregg Potter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Nilson Ross hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobs Stageman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kotara's Gregg Potter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ned Kurth in the 68th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Ned Kurth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacobs Stageman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Russell Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jones Fynn kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arty Sparrow during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sabastian Belford kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Jacobs Stageman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Russell Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Jacobs Stageman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kotara's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobs Stageman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Russell Thomas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ned Kurth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Ivan Allcock made a precise shot to the right of Gregg Potter. Kotara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kotara players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Perthominium.
