Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bray Howie started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Brendan Jobson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute of the match, Brendan Jobson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Colling saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cregan Mudie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Dante Colling managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Brooklet's Cregan Mudie fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Brooklet's Brendan Jobson got a free kick in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blade Conlin during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ian Ceney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Colling having to interfere. Brendan Jobson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benard Dalglish received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Paul Weeks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Weeks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bray Howie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brendan Jobson made a kick off. If Cregan Mudie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benard Dalglish got free with Paul Weeks in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paul Weeks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bray Howie in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Warralakin's Duke Miller got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, Ian Ceney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benard Dalglish during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benard Dalglish kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Warralakin defense, Cregan Mudie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Colling. The Warralakin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Colling should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the game, Fabian Sugden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Warralakin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brooklet the free kick. After 79 played minutes Warralakin got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Sugden. After a defensive mix-up in Warralakin's zone, Cregan Mudie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Colling came out of the goal and Cregan Mudie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Warralakin's Dante Colling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendan Jobson in the 81st minute of play. If Brendan Jobson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blade Conlin took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Colling. Dante Colling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Dante Colling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cregan Mudie in the 91st minute of the match. After 92 played minutes Brooklet got a freekick which was hit by Ian Ceney. Brooklet's Paul Weeks proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Brooklet from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the Brooklet players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
