Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Drew Quelch took the kick off in the first half of the match. Brandon Missen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drake Giles having to interfere. Edwin Plummer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Drake Giles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huntingdon's Carver Pinal got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lawrance Walsh, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Drake Giles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Plummer in the 15th minute of play. Bock Wadley's late challenge caught a Huntingdon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bock Wadley helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Fairfax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bock Wadley to maneuver through the defense. Bock Wadley kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Brandon Missens short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Drake Giles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Fairfax's Kevin Conlin got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Drew Quelch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fairfax's Gregory Gorham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Huntingdon's zone, Edwin Plummer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Drake Giles came out of the goal and Edwin Plummer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Drake Giles managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Fairfax's Brandon Missen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 31 minutes into the match, Huntingdon's goalkeeper Drake Giles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brandon Missen. Fairfax's Brandon Missen got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bishop Brophy was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Huntingdon! If Brandon Missen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brandon Missen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edwin Plummer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Edwin Plummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drake Giles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Brandon Missen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bock Wadley took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Drake Giles. Drake Giles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 63 minutes into the match, Edwin Plummer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Drake Giles. Huntingdon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwin Plummer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Carver Pinal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Drake Giles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brandon Missen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brandon Missen in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Drake Giles saved Huntingdon from getting behind. Drake Giles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Plummer in the 83rd minute of the match. Brandon Missen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Edwin Plummer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Edwin Plummer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fairfax's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin Plummer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Drake Giles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brandon Missen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Drake Giles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
