Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bray Howie took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Bray Howie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Warralakin's Bray Howie slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Drake Giles. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Benard Dalglish struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Drake Giles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warralakin. After 15 minutes, Quade Nelson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huntingdon and the Warralakin players grew even worse after the yellow card. 14 minutes into the game, one of Huntingdon:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Drake Giles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benard Dalglish in the 22nd minute. When Bray Howie came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Warralakin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bray Howie couldn't finish the play. In the 45th match minute, Huntingdon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrance Walsh to maneuver through the defense. Carver Pinal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dante Colling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Drake Giles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bray Howie's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Preston Diefenbach kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Dante Colling made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Carver Pinal sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the match, Warralakin's goalkeeper Dante Colling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carver Pinal. Richard Peterson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Dante Colling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carver Pinal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Colling read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Huntingdon's goal looked a bit too open when Bray Howie came free, but Drake Giles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carver Pinal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Colling having to interfere. Drew Quelch struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Dante Colling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huntingdon. In the 96th match minute, Warralakin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ace Szobczak to maneuver through the defense. If Drew Quelch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huntingdon's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
