Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bray Howie got the match started through his kick off. If Roy Teuma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Bray Howie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edmonds Muddle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brandon Shirdon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dante Colling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Phenix Glover kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Colling. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. A collision led to Rockleigh getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Neil Szobczak hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Bern Jeffress hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmonds Muddle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benard Dalglish, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Roy Teuma scored 2-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Colling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roy Teuma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Phenix Glover fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dante Colling, passed just outside the right post. When Phenix Glover came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Rockleigh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phenix Glover couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phenix Glover in the 48th minute of play forced Warralakin's goalkeeper Dante Colling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Phenix Glover to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Roy Teuma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Colling was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. If Roy Teuma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dante Colling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roy Teuma went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duke Miller during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Phenix Glover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Warralakin's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Teuma came free, but Dante Colling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Warralakin's Blake Tresise got a free kick in the 77th minute. Roy Teuma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Phenix Glover managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rockleigh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phenix Glover was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blake Tresise hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Roy Teuma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Colling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Teuma in the 90th minute of the match. If Roy Teuma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rockleigh walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
