Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cornelius Whittington started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Byron Frew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 5 minutes into the game, Alan Cuddihy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ben Convine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lynwood's Ben Convine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Cuddihy in the 8th minute of play. Bert Bundy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Antony Mcgirr came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Lynwood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antony Mcgirr couldn't finish the play. Alan Cuddihy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ben Convine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Lynwood booed when Nanneella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dakota Cootes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Byron Frew kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 29thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Lynwood's keeper Ben Convine was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 30th minute Alan Cuddihy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Convine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Convine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Cuddihy in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelius Whittington in the 42nd minute of play forced Nanneella's goalkeeper Olin Ward to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Byron Frew had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ben Convine. Lynwood's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Byron Frew was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alan Cuddihy made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Nanneella got a freekick which was hit by Alan Cuddihy. Nanneella's Olin Ward proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Nanneella from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Byron Frew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olin Ward made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Antony Mcgirr sent off a good shot on target. Ben Convine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Cuddihy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alan Cuddihy spun around in front of the goal 65 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Lynwood's goal. Alan Cuddihy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ben Convine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brockman Watson hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 80 minutes, Dwight Crampton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nanneella and the Lynwood players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lynwood booed when Nanneella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dwight Crampton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Earl Millgate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Lynwood defense, Alan Cuddihy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ben Convine. The Lynwood fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ben Convine should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Cuddihy in the 93rd minute of play forced Lynwood's goalkeeper Ben Convine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Nanneella's Olin Ward got control of the ball when Antony Mcgirr tried to sneak it across the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nanneella fully deserved thier win.
