Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brock Macinnes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cornelius Whittington kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After 4 minutes of play, Goal's Brock Macinnes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ben Convine was left in no man's land by his defense there! 7 minutes into the match, Lynwood's goalkeeper Ben Convine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Al Munday. Adolph Digiuseppe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ben Convine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Brock Macinnes sped through Lynwood's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ben Convine. Adolph Digiuseppe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ben Convine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brockman Watson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvin Hardiman having to interfere. In the 26th minute Darian Slattery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Convine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lynwood's Ben Convine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolph Digiuseppe in the 28th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Brock Macinnes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ben Convine. That made the score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. If Adolph Digiuseppe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brock Macinnes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Ben Convine 37 minutes into the match. Ben Convine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolph Digiuseppe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cornelius Whittington was the one to do the kick off. Ben Convine came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Goal's Adolph Digiuseppe. But to his dismay, Adolph Digiuseppe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Ben Convine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brock Macinnes in the 59th minute of the match. Calvin Hardiman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelius Whittington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Goal booed when Lynwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brockman Watson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Bert Bundy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lynwood's Ben Convine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolph Digiuseppe in the 77th minute of play. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Brock Macinnes sped through Lynwood's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ben Convine. The Goal fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Goal's Brock Macinnes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ben Convine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolph Digiuseppe in the 90th minute of play. Lynwood's Ben Convine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brock Macinnes in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Goal players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
