Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alan Cuddihy took the kick off in the first half of the match. Brayden Mcwilliam's late challenge caught a Nanneella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brayden Mcwilliam helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nanneella booed when The Lads United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brayden Mcwilliam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nanneella's Alan Cuddihy got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mark Greenan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Nanneella's Reese Delahide got a free kick in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Nanneella's goal looked a bit too open when Chuck Reilly came free, but Olin Ward reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Chuck Reilly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Lads United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chuck Reilly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Byron Frew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Brockman Freel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alan Cuddihy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Surman hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Brockman Freel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan Cuddihy's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. A collision led to Nanneella getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Reese Delahide hit a great ball. When Reese Delahide got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Nanneella. The audience was convinced that Chuck Reilly's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olin Ward was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Alan Cuddihy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Brockman Beins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Brockman Freel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Cuddihy in the 53rd minute of play forced The Lads United's goalkeeper Brockman Freel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Byron Frew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brockman Freel having to interfere. The Lads United's Brayden Mcwilliam got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered Brayden Mcwilliam off the ground. Brayden Mcwilliam hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes The Lads United got a freekick which was hit by Berne Waterland. Chuck Reilly scored 0-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olin Ward, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brockman Freel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Cuddihy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 84 minutes, Alan Cuddihy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nanneella's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Cuddihy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th match minute, The Lads United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clark Czaczka to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match Nanneella got a corner. The Lads United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dwight Crampton ran over to the corner to take the kick. 91 minutes into the game, Alan Cuddihy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nanneella's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Lads United the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nanneella's Alan Cuddihy got a free kick in the 91st minute. Byron Frew recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Lads United's Brockman Freel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Byron Frew in the 96th minute of play. The Nanneella supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching The Lads United's performance. The match ended with a win for The Lads United.
