When Chuck Reilly fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Lads United's protests and gave Chuck Reilly a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, The Lads United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chuck Reilly to maneuver through the defense. Quade Colling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in The Lads United's zone, Quade Colling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mark Greenan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clark Czaczka made a great header on The Lads United's corner, it was just that Remine's Bray Woods managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Marshall Harding took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Brockman Freel to make any attempt to save it. The Lads United's Mark Greenan got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marshall Harding came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Remine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marshall Harding couldn't finish the play. Remine's Bray Woods played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Greenan in the 74th minute of play. Bray Woods made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brayden Mcwilliam in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Chuck Reilly made a precise shot to the right of Bray Woods. Remine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Remine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
