With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zack Schoenke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Cullenswood's zone, Rolando Angell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zack Schoenke came out of the goal and Rolando Angell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brant Andrews received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Zack Schoenke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fairylands's Ike Shortus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Ludwick in the 15th minute of play. When Rolando Angell came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Fairylands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Angell couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Cullenswood's goalkeeper Zack Schoenke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brant Andrews. Ben Waters hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Brant Andrews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Angell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zack Schoenke having to interfere. Mark Ludwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brant Andrews could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Zack Schoenke made a huge save.

Zack Schoenke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fairylands. Ben Waters charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ben Waters the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ben Waters hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Ludwick in the 77th minute of play forced Fairylands's goalkeeper Ike Shortus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lauder Hogan in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ike Shortus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Brant Andrews came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Fairylands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brant Andrews couldn't finish the play. Ike Shortus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Ludwick in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fairylands fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cullenswood had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
