Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ernest Renney started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lauder Lord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kris Schultz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauder Lord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Sedgman having to interfere. Bryant Nobes's late challenge caught a York's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bryant Nobes helped the player get up and apologised. York's Corder Mogork got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abbott Hanlen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corder Mogork, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Belvidere! The referee gave York a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Braedan Cawthorne, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Belvidere's Abbott Hanlen. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Belvidere's zone, Ernest Renney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abbott Hanlen came out of the goal and Ernest Renney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abbott Hanlen came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by York's Corder Mogork. But to his dismay, Corder Mogork quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Corder Mogork had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corder Mogork recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Belvidere defense, Ernest Renney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abbott Hanlen. The Belvidere fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abbott Hanlen should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Bent Kreck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Ernest Renney managed to get in a good position for a shot. York's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Renney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abbott Hanlen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Belvidere players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. York were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kris Schultz to strike the kick off in the second half. Ronald Sedgman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauder Lord, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Lauder Lord had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronald Sedgman. York's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lauder Lord was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Corder Mogork got free with Abbott Hanlen in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Belvidere's goalkeeper Abbott Hanlen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Corder Mogork. In the 67th minute, Bent Kreck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baxter Cordrey struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Abbott Hanlen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for York. Ernest Renney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abbott Hanlen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Renney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Corder Mogork during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Corder Mogork kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Lauder Lord's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronald Sedgman was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 89th match minute, York was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iggi Cordrey to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Clack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Renney in the 92nd minute of play forced Belvidere's goalkeeper Abbott Hanlen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abbott Hanlen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Renney, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Corder Mogork sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. York played a much better game than Belvidere and deserved their victory. The Belvidere players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
