Randle Wright hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Craig Sinden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bryanne Sinden went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryanne Sinden in the 13th minute of play forced Abercorn's goalkeeper Craig Sinden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Martin Nelson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Murmungee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abercorn the free kick. Martin Nelson hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Murmungee's zone, Rick Foley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brynn Dowsing came out of the goal and Rick Foley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bryanne Sinden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bryanne Sinden came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Murmungee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryanne Sinden couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Randle Wright notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Abercorn's Craig Sinden. Craig Sinden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bryanne Sinden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Craig Sinden having to interfere. If Bryanne Sinden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bryanne Sinden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Zackery Diefenbach fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abercorn's protests and gave Zackery Diefenbach a yellow card for diving instead. Zackery Diefenbach kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryanne Sinden in the 56th minute of play forced Abercorn's goalkeeper Craig Sinden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Randle Wright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abercorn's goalkeeper Craig Sinden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bryanne Sindens short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Craig Sinden to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 64 minutes into the game, Bryanne Sinden cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Craig Sinden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Abercorn getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Zackery Diefenbach hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Bryanne Sinden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Craig Sinden was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Bryanne Sinden's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Craig Sinden skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randle Wright in the 84th minute of play forced Abercorn's goalkeeper Craig Sinden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bryanne Sindens short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Craig Sinden to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Irwin Lingwoodock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Craig Sinden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Bryanne Sinden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murmungee's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryanne Sinden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Craig Sinden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Abercorn fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Murmungee were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
